River House Grill has a private dining room ideal for intimate weddings, birthdays or any special function. This room can accommodate up to 60 people in a stand up reception. We can also do sit down functions in this room for up to 40 people. We can also serve 60 people in our main dining room. Enjoy the privacy of your own room and bar, ideal for business meetings or any social event. Menus are based on our current menu selections and can be custom designed to your group.
Our alcove area is also available in our main dining room and is also available for dinners of 10 to 12 guests. It is a beautiful semi private area with a lovely view of the Sturgeon River Valley.
How far in advance do we need to book?
Bookings are on a first come first served basis. Reservations can be made by calling the River House Grill at
780-458-2232, please leave the following information, # of guests, time preferred, contact name and number.
If you would like to book a private function please call for Willie White at the same number, if unavailable please leave a number you can be reached at as well as your preferred date and number of people.
Is there a dress code?
Most of our guests dress smart casual.
Is there parking available?
There is a parking lot in the front of the building, although there is plenty of street parking available as well.
What Items do we need to supply? What items does the River House Grill Supply?
The River House grill does not allow any food to be brought in from outside sources, this is due to Health Board Regulations. If designated seating is required please supply your own place cards. The RHG can supply personalized menus for your group.
How are payments made?
For private functions we prefer a business or personal cheque in order to keep out costs down. We would rather pass the savings on to you instead of the credit card company.
The River House Grill does accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, and Debit Card.
A 15% gratuity is added to groups of 7 or more people.
How are menus created for my function?
All menus for group functions are pre-set condensed menus . These menus are based on current restaurant selections.
When do I have to give my final count of guests?
We will need your guaranteed number of guests 3 days prior to your function.
If my guest count increases or decreases on the day of my function, how will I be billed?
You will be billed for the guaranteed number given or attendance whichever is greater.
